Whats the best way to integrate employee seniority lists after an acquisition?

Depends on skill set of employees. if they fair better in a particular area then employees of the acquiring company, they should be higher up the chain. divide their roles in following three categories i.e. Strategic, Tactical and operational. do a comparison with acquiring companys employees and make your decision.
