Please help! what does this mean & what would happen if i agree?

Books purchased at school come with cds for comp. Everytime I insert disk & think I'm ready to start it says "do you agree with this cd (or drive) to make changes to your computer? The computer is already window 7 installed. (Note:I don't know much about computers. And this is 1st computer) what will happen if I agree? &what does that mean? Thank you in advance.
