I fell last night at work on my right knee.?

I fell last night at work on my right knee. I've had surgery on this knee before. When I got home I noticed that there was swelling below my kneecap, I have a small bruise and when I push on the swelling, it feels like there's water. Do you know what this should be and if I should file for workmans comp?
